Bowen Therapy
Bowen Therapy is a simple but effective body balancing system. Through gentle
moves on soft tissue at a series of key points on the body, it stimulates energy
flow that releases tension, strains and blockages, empowering the body's own
resources to naturally re-balance and heal itself.
There is no manipulation or adjustment of hard tissue; the treatment is very
gentle, relaxing and safe for nearly all ages. It can be performed through light
clothing with each session lasting approximately 30 - 45 minutes.
Benefits may be seen after the first session and in many cases long
standing pain can be relieved in 3 sessions, although further treatments may be
required in some situations.
Bowen therapy uses a vibrational energy, which makes it safe to use on anyone from newborns to
the elderly for any complaint from sports injuries to chronic or organic
conditions.
Bowen can help to improve:

After having a Bowen treatment, it is strongly advised that you do not have any other
physical therapy such as massage, acupuncture, reflexology, physiotherapy etc.
for 7 days after the treatment as this may undo the balance achieved through
having a Bowen treatment
